Are there any spirits at my dad's old Lymm pub?
Hello James, I was born in Warrington, and between 1977 and 1979 my father was the publican of the Spread Eagle Hotel in Lymm and we lived there. I can recall feelings of being watched and being uncomfortable and scared in certain areas upstairs and in the cellar. I was wondering if you have ever visited the Spread Eagle, and if so, if there are actually any spirits in residence? My father passed away in 2002 - the rest of my family have had 'signs' that he is around, but I haven't. I'd also be curious to know if he is around me too. Helen, Hobart, Tasmania, Australia Dear Helen, I am not sure if I am picking a male spirit up in the public house or it's your father. This gentleman seems to be very noisy and a bit of a router. So I will say it's not your father but he does seem to be a father to someone. He passed with a heart condition that seemed long term. I am drawn to a corridor with him and walking up and down but stopping outside doors. The carpet seems unfitted but looks very expensive for its day. Just feels like he is walking up and down this corridor listening in to see if any good is being said. I feel your father is with you but I can hear the sea around and birds. I just get the impression from him that you need to keep your mouth shut or keep you opinions to yourself as you will be drawn into something which has nothing to do with you. He is saying something about your ears or drawing my attention to them.
