Minority did not have decency to keep quiet
I AM shocked and dismayed at the behaviour of a small number of individuals in Sainsbury's in Northwich during the two minutes' silence which was held to mark the anniversary of the London July 7 bombings outrage.

Please join the fight to save inpatient unit
AS my grandmother has been a patient on the inpatient unit at Northwich Victoria Infirmary, I feel that I must express my concerns regarding its closure.

Magnificent performance
I DON'T think I've ever witnessed such an emotive, joyful and splendid concert as the one held at Northwich Memorial Hall on July 11. Full marks to Sir John Deane's College for showcasing the musical talents of so many local young people.

It's patients who benefit
ON my way home from quite a long spell in Leighton Hospital I spent a night in Northwich Victoria Infirmary last week.

Kindness has restored faith in human nature
ON June 30 my wife had a fall in Northwich town centre resulting in cuts and bruises and small fractures to her right foot.

Last chance to have your say over incinerator plan
ON September 5, the public inquiry into the Cheshire Waste Plan begins.

Council should set example
WE have received another box for recycling. This I have no qualms about. What annoys me is that I live looking out on a green area that is large enough for children to play football and other games on.

Just dazzling
I HAVE just seen Dazzle by the youth section of Mid Cheshire Amateur Operatic Society and what a joy it was.
